The backstory.
Lasagna is one of those meals I will always love… but I do not always love the time it takes to assemble. One night I had a bag of frozen cheese ravioli, a jar of sauce, and exactly zero patience - and the crockpot turned that random lineup into a slow cooker ravioli lasagna that felt like a real dinner win for the whole family.
It's a must make.
When a dinner needs to be easy, filling, and something the whole family actually wants to eat, crockpot ravioli lasagna checks every box.
- Easy. The layering takes just minutes and the cooker does the rest.
- Comforting. It delivers all the classic lasagna flavors with soft pasta, meat sauce, and melted cheese.
- Family-friendly. This recipe feeds a crowd and keeps everyone happy.
- Reliable. Frozen ravioli cook evenly and hold together without stirring.
- Flexible. You can easily swap italian sausage for ground beef if needed.
Let's talk flavor and texture.
Soft, saucy layers and plenty of melted cheese make this dish feel like a warm, comforting payoff after a long day. The ravioli become tender pockets of pasta that soak up the sauce while staying intact. Italian sausage creates a hearty meat sauce with deep savory flavor, while cottage cheese adds that creamy lasagna-style layer. Mozzarella cheese melts into stretchy layers, and optional parmesan brings a salty finish that makes every bite feel complete.
What you'll need.

The beauty of this easy crockpot ravioli lasagna is how familiar and unfussy the ingredient list feels.
- Frozen cheese ravioli: Using frozen ravioli keeps this crockpot ravioli recipe fast and helps the layers set as it cooks.

Kori's tips.
- Don't stir while cooking. Stirring can break the ravioli and ruin the layers.
- If your sauce is very thick, add a splash of water so everything cooks evenly.
- Let it rest before serving. Those extra minutes help the lasagna set and slice cleanly.
- Shortcut alert: Using frozen ravioli skips multiple prep steps and saves time.
