She never measured a thing, just tossed in ham bones, potatoes, and a little love. That smell meant it was time to grab a bowl and settle in by the window while the world outside got quiet and the kitchen stayed warm.

Kori's tips.
- Cut your potatoes evenly so they cook at the same rate. Sweet potatoes cook faster, so you can make them larger.
- Taste before adding more salt-ham can make the broth plenty salty on its own.
- Stir in the cream mixture at the end to keep the soup smooth and creamy.
- Got leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy over the next few days-it gets even better.
FAQ's
Store leftover ham soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Yes! Cool completely, then freeze in portions. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
Reheat slowly on the stovetop over medium heat or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each. Add a splash of broth or milk if it thickens too much.
