    The best taste. Oh my. I have been making these tasty chocolate peanut clusters for my family for YEARS. They are so delicious with the perfect combination of chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, and nuts. They get gobbled up quick!

    Super Easy. Dump it all in. Let it melt, stir and drop onto parchment paper. Let them harden and enjoy!

    Crockpot Peanut Clusters with Peanut Butter Ingredients

    Here are the ingredients you will need to make this peanut clusters recipe in the slow cooker:

    • Semi-sweet chocolate chips: get good quality chocolate chips!
    • Butterscotch chips: butterscotch chips balance chocolate perfectly.
    • Creamy peanut butter: I highly recommend creamy peanut butter not crunchy. in this recipe.
    • Redskin Spanish peanuts: these are the roasted, shelled, and salted peanuts in a can with the skin still on. When you make these, be sure to add the peanuts and the skin.

    How To Make Crockpot Peanut Clusters

    Here's how to make this recipe:

    Adding chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter into a small oval black crock pot.

    1. Add the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter to a crock pot coated with nonstick spray.

    Stirring the added peanuts into the melted chocolate, butterscotch, and peanut butter.

    2. Cover and cook on low until melted, 20 to 30 minutes, stirring periodically. Stir in the peanuts.

    4. Let them harden, then refrigerate them in an airtight container.

    Tip: if your kitchen is warm, place parchment paper on a tray, then drop the clusters on the pan and place in the refrigerator until hardened, then transfer to an airtight container.

    Here are some suggestions for customizing your crock pot peanut clusters:

    • Substitute salted caramel baking chips for butterscotch, or use all chocolate chips.
    • Sugar-free chocolate chips and butterscotch chips can be substituted.
    • Try using roasted pistachios instead of peanuts.
    • A tart-dried fruit like cranberries can be added as well.

    • 2 to 3-quart crock pot

    Ingredients
      

    • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 12 ounces butterscotch baking chips
    • 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
    • 2 cups redskin salted peanuts

    Instructions
     

    • Coat the inside of a 2 to 3-quart crock pot with non stick spray and turn on low.
    • Add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter to crockpot.
    • Cover with lid and cook on low heat until the chips and peanut butter is melted, stirring periodically, about 20 to 30 minutes once the pot is hot.
    • When all ingredients are melted add peanuts and stir.
    • Drop by the spoonful (approximately 1 tablespoon each) onto parchment paper then refrigerate.
    • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
