- All Purpose Flour
- Sliced Almonds: use sliced, slivered, or chopped, based on your preference.

Apple Crisp Slow Cooker Recipe FAQ's
Once cooled, transfer to an air-tight container and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Microwave a serving on a microwave-safe dish and warm on for 20 to 45 seconds. Warm for longer if desired.
The difference between the two is very slim, actually! Apple crumble and apple crisps both start with an apple base layer and are topped with either a crumble or a crisp. Crumble topping is usually just flour, sugar, and butter, whereas a crisp topping will have oats, flour, nuts, butter, and sugar.
The apples to use are a tart variety such as granny smith apples, golden delicious, or Honeycrisp. You can combine multiple varieties together as well!
Some people don't think you have to peel the apples, but I highly suggest you don't skip this step! If you don't peel the apples, it can change the texture of your apple desserts and sometimes harder to chew with the peels on.
