    The backstory.

This recipe was born out of a post-Halloween cleanup. You know the drill-wrappers everywhere and way too many fun-size candy bars staring back at you. Instead of sneaking bites for a week straight (been there!), I tossed them into my slow cooker with some almond bark and peanuts, and magic happened. Now it's my go-to for repurposing leftover holiday chocolate into something even better-sweet, crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Chocolate peanut crockpot candy bar bites are a must make.

    Kori's tips.

    • Line your slow cooker with parchment paper or use a disposable liner for super easy cleanup.
    • Don't overcook the chocolate-stir often so it melts smoothly and doesn't scorch.
    • To keep those candy bar chunks intact, take the slow cooker insert off the heat before stirring in the peanuts and candy pieces. Work quickly to spoon them onto parchment paper or a silicone mat so they start cooling right away.
    • Let the clusters cool completely before moving them, so they set up perfectly.
