Best Crock Pot Pepperoni Pizza Dip Recipe
Great for all Occasions! I make this appetizer for game day, holiday parties, work parties, and for my family for the holidays. Make it the night before you need to have it ready, set it on low the next day, and let the magic happen.
Tasty for all Ages. Kids absolutely LOVE this dip any time I bring it around--but adults love it just as much. Make fun sides for dipping, such as bread, crackers, raw veggies, cooked breadsticks, or others.
Quick and Easy. This dip is also one of my favorites to make because it is super easy to put together. Add all the ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low. Stir halfway through, garnish with extra pepperoni, and it's ready to eat!
Pizza Dip Recipe Crock Pot Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you will need to make this slow cooker pizza dip:
- Cream Cheese: you can use regular or low-fat cream cheese in this recipe. Use softened cream cheese to speed up the cooking time however, it is not necessary.
- Italian Seasoning: I use a store-bought Italian seasoning blend- any brand works well.
- Minced Garlic: mince your garlic for the best flavor, or use store-bought pre-minced garlic to save time.
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese: shred your own for an extra gooey melty cheese or use pre-shredded to save time (both result in a delicious dip).
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese: shred your own or use pre-shredded to save time.
- Pizza Sauce: any brand or variety of your choice.
- Pepperoni Minis: save some for garnish as well.
- Green Bell Peppers: finely chopped green bell pepper; save some for garnish at the end.
- Onion: you can use white, yellow, or sweet onion. Be sure to finely chop so it is about the same size as the bell pepper for the best result.

Substitutions and Variations
- Add a few tablespoons of your favorite pizza toppings such as sliced olives, mushrooms (canned are best to prevent extra moisture) - or any others!
- Add an extra kick such as red pepper flakes, start with a small amount and add more if needed. You can also serve on the side so others can add more if they like.
- Drizzle the top with hot honey to add a sweet and spicy component to your dip.
- Omit the onion and green pepper if you want, you can serve the dip plain as well.
- Use a pizza blend of shredded cheese if you wish. Most blends are a combination of mozzarella and parmesan.
- Swap pepperoni for Italian sausage.

While this question can be received differently by each person I believe a good pizza dip is cheesy, and melted, with pizza toppings such as pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and of course pizza sauce and Italian seasoning.
Crackers that are great for dipping are structured crackers that are a little thicker so they do not break when scooping up your dip. Some examples are Triscuit crackers, pita crackers, pretzel thins, or any similar.
