CROCKPOT COOKING TIPS: Every slow cooker heats a little differently, so cooking times can vary. Once you know how your crock pot runs (hotter or cooler), you can adjust as needed.
RECIPE TIPS: Hickory-smoked barbecue sauce works especially well in this recipe. Ripe but firm peaches hold their texture best while cooking.
VARIATIONS: Add diced jalapeños or chipotle peppers for a spicy kick. Swap pinto beans for black beans or butter beans if preferred.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve with ribs, burgers, grilled chicken, pulled pork, smoked brisket, or your favorite BBQ mains.
