Sweet, smoky, and loaded with bold BBQ flavor, these slow cooker bourbon peach baked beans are an easy crowd-pleasing side dish perfect for cookouts, potlucks, and summer dinners.
8slicesthick-cut applewood smoked baconcooked and chopped
1cupfrozen diced onion
2cupsdiced fresh peachesabout 3 medium peaches OR 2 cups frozen peaches, thawed and chopped
2(28-ounce)cans pork and beans
1(15-ounce)can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1(15-ounce)pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1cupsmoky barbecue sauce
¼cupbourbon
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1tablespoonDijon mustard
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1 to 2tablespoonsbrown sugar
1teaspoonkosher salt
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Spray a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Add all the ingredients to the crockpot and stir until well combined.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, stirring once halfway through cooking if possible. Adjust seasoning to taste. Stir and serve warm.
