You'll love how easy it is to make this crock pot marinara sauce - dump all the ingredients in the slow cooker and walk away. The flavors are blended perfectly as they cook low and slow all day. I've snuck extra veggies into this garden-style version to boost the flavor and nutrition. Enjoy!
optional: sugar to taste to balance the tanginess of the tomatoes
Instructions
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and stir.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove bay leaves and adjust seasoning to taste with salt and pepper. If the sauce is too tangy, add a little sugar.
